Mariners Pound Sox, Again

The White Sox on Saturday were knocked around again by the Seattle Mariners and Mike Cameron, losing 12-2.

Josh Stewart took the loss, giving up eight runs on seven hits and five walks in 3 2/3 innings, and the Mariners' Freddy Garcia gave up one run in six innings to pick up the win.

Cameron, who went 3-3 with a homer and two RBIs on Friday, drove in six runs on a three-run homer and base-clearing triple.

The Sox were held to just five hits again. D'Angelo Jimenez went 1-3 with a walk and Willie Harris went 1-4. Joe Crede hit his second homer, going 1-4, and Armando Rios hit his first homer, going 1-2. That was all the offense the Sox had.

Rick White gave up two runs in 2 2/3 innings in relief and Billy Koch gave up two runs in an inning. Kelly Wunsch threw 2/3 of an inning and Damaso Marte threw a scoreless inning. Recommended Stories
